Fabric has been part of my life since long before I picked up paintbrushes or resin. These fabric art pieces take everything I love about quilting and textiles and move it onto the wall.
You will see different approaches here: layered textile wall hangings with lots of movement, appliqué pieces where shapes are carefully cut and stitched down, and embroidered work with extra detail and texture built right into the surface. Some designs lean more graphic, some are softer and more intricate, but every piece is stitched, pressed, and finished by hand.
If your space feels a little hard or echoey, fabric art is a great way to add warmth, color, and a bit of sound-softening without going full recording studio. Hang one anywhere you want something cozy and unique instead of another framed print - your walls get something to wear, too.
